Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul met in Zagreb with Tjac van den Hout, the Secretary-General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration seated in the Hague, who is on an official visit to Croatia. During his visit, the Secretary-General met witrh the Justice Minister Vesna Škare Ožbolt and State Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hido Biščević.
Van den Hout informed his colleagues about the activities and achievements of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, as one of the leading world institutions in the field of international public legal and commercial arbitration. Possibilities of further strengthening the co-operation between Croatia and the Permanent Court of Arbitration, especially on the expert level, were also discussed.
Secretary-General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration Van den Hout also visited the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he held a lecture on international arbitration for students of postgraduate course in European Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb.
