Croatia welcomes entering into force of EU-Serbia Stabilization and Association Agreement

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs welcomes the coming into effect of the Stabilization and Association Agreement between the European Union and Serbia

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs welcomes the coming into effect of the Stabilization and Association Agreement between the European Union and Serbia, which represents the end of one leg of Serbia’s European journey as well as an incentive to continue the reform process and open the EU accession negotiations.

The continuation of the European integration processes in all of the Western Balkans countries is crucial for the stability and security of the region as a whole.

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs – through the Centre of Excellence and in partnership relations with the countries in the region so that projects would be tailored to specific needs – will continue to support and assist the Euro-Atlantic integration process. Therefore, we also welcome the appointment of Serbia’s chief EU negotiator.
