Croatia welcomes ceasefire in Gaza and Israel

The Republic of Croatia welcomes the agreement on ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Israel. Croatia joins the views of the EU and fully appreciates the efforts of all who have mediated in reaching ceasefire and preventing a further escalation of the crisis. We express hope that this ceasefire will be respected and that it will pave the way to peace process as the only long-term guarantee of peace and security in the region.
