Croatia, Peru sign Memorandum of Agreement

Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Nebojša Koharović and Peruvian Ambassador Juan Antonio del Busto 10 June signed a Memorandum of Agreement on the setting up of political consultations mechanism between the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru.

The two officials underlined the need to strengthen bilateral relations on all fronts, from politics and economy to culture, science, technology and security, as well as the importance of maintaining contacts between the two countries’ citizens, notably with the Croatian expat community. They stressed the importance of preparing bilateral agreements on cooperation, which would have to be adapted to the acquis.

Koharović and del Busto also discussed the current situation in Europe and Latin America.
