Croatia Forum on energy security began today in Dubrovnik. It was opened by Croatian President Ivo Josipović, who underlined the need for a joint approach and cooperation between countries in the region and Europe on energy.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić stressed that energy security was a priority for all countries.

Attending the forum will be eight foreign ministers, three deputy ministers, secretaries of state, as well as representatives of financial institutions and energy companies.
