Assistant Minister Tomić received newly-accredited Egyptian Ambassador, H. E. Mohamed Ashraf Gamal Eldin Rashed

Ambassador Rashed, former Assistant Minister for Europe at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed great interest for a further deepening of the historically good and friendly relations with the Republic of Croatia.

The Croatian side expressed a wish for the realisation of the Egyptian officials’ visit to Croatia. The two sides also discussed the possibilities of strengthening the economic co-operation, especially in transport and energy supplies. In view of the signed Memorandum on Co-operation between Zagreb and Cairo Fairs, the Croatian side expressed satisfaction with Egypt’s intention to present its economy to Croatia next year.
