Ambassador Jakša Muljačić handed credentials to Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey

Croatian Ambassador Jakša Muljačić handed on 25 October 2007 in Bern the originals of his credentials to President of the Swiss Confederation Micheline Calmy-Rey, officially assuming the duty of the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Swiss Confederation

On that occasion, both sides expressed wish for a continuation of the traditionally good bilateral relations and exchanged opinions on current international topics. Ambassador Muljačić thanked for Switzerland’s support during the creation of the state of Croatia, as well as in the realization of its foreign-policy goals.

At the end of the meeting, President Calmy-Rey reiterated Switzerland’s readiness to further strengthen bilateral co-operation in all areas and continue supporting Croatia on its path towards the Euro-Atlantic integration.
