State Secretary Pejčinović Burić participated in Podgorica in seminar “Croatia’s Role in a United Europe”
State Secretary for European Integration Marija Pejčinović Burić participated in the seminar “Croatia’s Role in a United Europe”, held on 26 October 2007 in Podgorica, and met with Montenegrin Vice-Prime Minister for European Integration Gordana Đurović and Political Director at Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dragan Radulović
During her visit to Podgorica, State Secretary Pejčinović Burić met with Montenegrin Vice-Prime Minister for European Integration Gordana Đurović. Communicating the congratulations on signing the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the EU, State Secretary Pejčinović Burić pointed out that Croatia fully supports the democratic processes and reforms aimed at including Montenegro into the Euro-Atlantic integration and is willing to continue offering assistance through the transfer of its own experiences in the process.
At the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Croatian delegation, led by State Secretary Pejčinović Burić, was received by Political Director Vladimir Radulović. State Secretary Pejčinović Burić expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of relations between the two counties and the intensive visits on all levels, which is a testimony to the positive atmosphere both on bi- and multilateral field. State Secretary Pejčinović Burić also informed the other side about the progress of Croatia’s EU membership negotiations, and both sides expressed a wish for the continuation of the two countries’ intensive co-operation.
