On Tuesday, 21 September 2010, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković attended the Transatlantic dinner in New York hosted by U.S. State Secretary Hillary Clinton.

The dinner attended by Foreign Ministers of EU and NATO Member States and other top officials, many issues of strategic importance to the Transatlantic community were discussed.

Minister Jandroković thanked State Secretary Clinton for the continuous support of the USA for the Republic of Croatia, particularly at present, at the final stage of Croatia's negotiations to accede to full membership of the European Union.

In the conversation with other officials attending the Transatlantic dinner he noted that the Republic of Croatia firmly believed in the importance of our joint Transatlantic values and goals, particularly as regarded security and the economy.
