Prime Minister Andrej Plenković participated to the solemn ceremony for European Parliament's late president David Sassoli in Strasbourg, 17 January 2022

Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković participated to the solemn ceremony for European Parliament’s late president David Sassoli, organized in Strasbourg on Monday 17 January 2022. Prime Minister Plenković expressed condolences to Sassoli’s family and signed the book of condolence. In his addressing to the media Prime Minister said that Sassoli was a great man and politician, Italian and European and a genuine friend of Croatia.
At the margins of this solemn ceremony, Prime Minister had talks with acting EP President Roberta Metsola, president of the European Council Charles Michel and the club of EPP Group.
