Ambassador’s interview for Attica TV

Ambassador of Croatia in Athens Dr. Ivan Velimir Starcevic gave on 27 October 2014 an interview to the Greek television station Attica TV. Questions were focused mainly on the state of economic relations between Croatia and Greece, opportunities for their improvement and activities of the Embassy of Croatia in Athens aimed at improving economic cooperation. Among other issues, Ambassador Starcevic spoke about the new model of Croatian economic diplomacy, efforts of the Embassy aimed at the restoration of the business cooperation between Croatian shipyards and Greek shipping companies and about plans to assemble at the Embassy Greek agents of Croatian companies that operate on this market as well as business people of Croatian origin, with the aim of exchanging information and experiences, finding new partners, getting acquainted with the specifics of the market and overcoming of any obstacles that may appear when starting business in Greece. He also commented on currently most important contract awarded to a Croatian company in the Greek market, a construction of six patrol boats for the Greek coast guard in the shipyard Greben from Vela Luka, and about the attempts of the Embassy to help finding business partners to Croatian IT companies that have developed applications for the sectors of health and education. In parallel with the Ambassadors responses, which were synchronized to the Greek language, promotional material was shown about Croatia and Croatian tourism. The interview was broadcasted on Thursday 30 November at 9pm local time.
