On December 6, 2019, the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Kazakhstan, held the Christmas party for the employees of the Embassy and their spouses and for the Croatian citizens residing in Kazakhstan. However, since the Croatian community is very small and at this time of the year everyone goes on vacation to their homeland, only one family was available to attend the party. Small group of guests gathered in the afternoon to make a toast to the upcoming holidays. The celebration was organized by Ambassador Šabanović and his spouse, with traditional Croatian cookies and other refreshments and small gifts for everyone. Earlier that week the Christmas tree was decorated at the Embassy in a festive mood.
