Celebrating the birthday of the Ruder Boskovic, the Croatian Embassy in Canberra organized a visit of all the staff and families to the Stromlo Observatory in Canberra where with the guidance of astronomer Dr. Brad E. Tucker they spent an evening with a presentation and astronomy-observation. The visit also contributed to the promotion of the role and importance of the Rudjer Boskovic in the history of astronomy, but also his role as the world"s scientists, scholar, and diplomat.
