EU Commissioner Mimica and New Zealand Foreign Minister McCully were co-organizers of the International Conference on Energy in the Pacific, which was attended by the heads of state and high representatives of South Pacific Island states, donors as well as international financial organizations and experts in the area of renewable energy.
