Reception on the occasion of the Croatian National Day was organised at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Canberra on 21 June in the presence of around 200 guests and invitees from the diplomatic corps, Australian federal and ACT institutions and representatives of the Croatian community from Canberra and other Australian cities. Following the official toasts Ambassador Dr Damir Kušen addressed the audience with a short speech. The official part of the ceremony was concluded by the letter of the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull with his best wishes to Croats around the world for their National Day. He also expressed pride for friendly and cooperative relations between our two countries and especially emphasized affection and esteem towards Croatian community in Australia.
