During his official visit to Fiji Ambassador Kušen also visited the Headquarters of the „South Pacific University“ in Suva, the biggest university in that part of the world, acting as a consortium of 12 South Pacific states. At the meeting with the Deputy Rector Dr Giulio Paunga discussion was oriented towards potential for cooperation, primarily education of the South Pacific University students at Croatian universities. Particular interest was expressed for programmes such as tourism, sustainable development, electrical and IT engineering and maritime studies. Ambassador also visited the main national university „Fiji University“ and talked to the president Ikbal Jannifom.
