Ambassador Kušen visited the Art Studio of the Australian-Croatian sculptor Ante Dabro

Ambassador Kušen and Mr Ante Dabro, one of the leading Australian sculptors of Croatian origin and a professor at the School of Art at the ANU in Canberra, discussed the possibility of a presentation of the rich artistic opus of Mr Dabro to the public in his homeland Croatia. Among his numerous sculptures that adorn the city of Canberra and the surrounding area, is the particularly outstanding monument “Sailors and ships”, set at the Navy Memorial on Anzac Parade and unveiled by Her Mayesty the Queen Elizabeth II in 1986 on the 75th anniversary of the Australian Royal Navy.
