Ambassador Kušen attended the Australian National Robotics Competition (Robocup Junior) as a special guest, held 27-28 September in Brisbane, and met with the President of the Organizing Committee, Mr Greig Tardianiem, and with other members of the Committee. They discussed the possible establishment of institutional links with the Croatian robotic alliance within the Croatian Technical Culture Bord, based on previous discussions he had with the leadership of these institutions. The initial plan to strengthen cooperation implies a mutual exchange of young roboticists at the summer school of robotics in Croatia, as well as participation of a Croatian robotics team at the Australian national competitions. Since Croatia has very promising young teams that regularly win leading positions in international competitions in robotics, the credibility of the Republic of Croatia in the field of robotics and knowledge of young people in this field is very high and certainly opens up a space to strengthen a better international profiling of Croatia, which was recognised on numerous occasions in Australia.
