Mayor Andro Krstulovic Opara with First Deputy City of Tel Aviv Mayor Doron Sapir

At the invitation of the organizers, the Mayor of the City of Split Andro Krstulovic Opara is attending the Muni World 2020 Local Authorities Fair, and on that occasion he met with Tel Aviv"s first Deputy Mayor, Doron Sapir. During his stay in Tel Aviv Mayor Krstulovic"s is accompanied by his advisor for city development and EU funds Kresimir Budiša, while the Ambassador Vesela Mrden Korac, First Secretary Lada Curkovic and attaché Goran Vidosevic attended the meeting. Along with he First Deputy Mayor Sapir, Director of the Department for International Cooperation, Eliav Blizowsky, Head of the Conservation Department dr.arch. Jeremie Hoffmann and Radmila Abramov from the International Cooperation Department attended the meeting. The hosts presented the legislation and best practice of the City of Tel Aviv in securing access to historically protected buildings and places for persons with disabilities. Mayor Krstulovic pointed out that the two cities are in many ways similar (number of people with disabilities and historical sites dating back to ancient times) and invited the Deputy Mayor Sapir to participate at the conference on this topic which will take place in the second half of October 2020 in Split.
