The Embassy is currently processing urgent requests from Croatian nationals only
Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 developments and in the context of measures aimed at preventing further human-to-human transmission, the Consular Section of the Croatian Embassy in Pretoria will be until further notice processing urgent requests from Croatian nationals only (e.g. laissez-passer for the deceased, emergency travel documents, pick up of already issued passports in case of an urgent travel). Visa applications may not be submitted at this time. Appointment requests should be sent to the e-mail address ptacons@mvep.hr stating the type of consular service required and the contact details of the applicant. Furthermore, applicants are asked to state whether they have signs of COVID-19 symptoms, whether they have (within 14 days) travelled to any country where COVID-19 quarantine has been imposed and whether they have been in contact with persons who are possible or confirmed transmitters of the virus. Upon arrival at the Embassy, applicants are required to bring their own ballpoint pens to complete the necessary forms. Consular days in South Africa are being postponed until further notice. For any urgent inquiries Croatian nationals may contact the following emergency number: 076 052 5431. We thank you for your understanding!
