Owing to the on-going COVID-19 developments and in the context of measures aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, a decision on temporary suspension of Croatian visas issuance has been implemented. In line with this decision and with an immediate effect, all Croatian embassies/consulates, including the Croatian Embassy in Pretoria, will not be accepting new applications for Croatian visas until further notice. An exception applies to holders of diplomatic and official passports and family members of Croatian nationals (spouse and/or children). Both groups are requested to comply with the Croatian Civil Protection Headquarters’ measures for strengthening control over the coronavirus spread, which apply to both Croatian and foreign nationals entering the Republic of Croatia.
Applications that have already been submitted shall not be processed at this time, except in particularly justified cases. For the unprocessed applications, applicants may request a refund or the processing of the request may be deferred until the termination of the above-mentioned measures.
