Croatian Ambassador to South Africa Nenad Prelog presented his credentials to President of the Republic of Mauritius Ameenah Gurib-Fakim on 29 August 2016 in Port Louis, and became the third accredited (non-resident) Croatian Ambassador to Mauritius. President Gurib-Fakim and Ambassador Prelog agreed on further straightening of our bilateral cooperation and discussed several areas of common interest, especially in the following sectors: tourism, fisheries, aquaculture, shipbuilding and shipping. During his stay in Mauritius, Ambassador Prelog held a series of meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Ministry of Tourism and External Communications and the Ministry of Ocean Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries, Shipping and Outer Islands, and visited the Terra Group, one of the largest companies in Mauritius.
