Ambassador Dr. Nenad Prelog presented his credentials to President Jacob Zuma

Croatian Ambassador to South Africa Dr. Nenad Prelog presented his credentials to President of the Republic of South Africa Jacob Zuma on 16 October 2014 in Pretoria. In his address to President Zuma, Ambassador Prelog recalled the role of Croatian immigrants in South Africa, which represents a strong bridge between two distant countries, and particularly noted the importance of the activities of several Croatian companies in South Africa and the region. As South Africa is celebrating 20 years of freedom and democracy in 2014, in his speech to the newly appointed ambassadors to Pretoria, President Zuma recalled the significance of the President Nelson Mandela and the ANC president OR Tambo in the struggle against apartheid and their immense contribution to the development of the democracy in South Africa.
