Minister Grabar-Kitarović and US Ambassador Robert Bradtke co-chaired joint session of Croatian Government’s Interdepartmental Co-ordination Group for NATO and US Embassy’s Working Group for NATO

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and US Ambassador to Croatia Robert Bradtke co-chaired the joint session of the Croatian Government’s Interdepartmental Co-ordination Group for NATO and the US Embassy’s Working Group for NATO

The meeting was held to exchange opinions on the current details regarding Croatia’s NATO accession, as well as the co-ordination and harmonisation of further activities and co-operation, and to review other topics about the process.

Minister Grabar-Kitarović thanked for the support the US is offering Croatia in its NATO aspirations, stating her conviction that this meeting too will result in concrete bilateral initiatives contributing to the fulfilment of that priority foreign policy goal of Croatia. Ambassador Bradtke confirmed the wholehearted support and wish for the continuation of the co-operation in the spirit of partnership relations.

The meeting also saw the presentation of the activities Croatia is conducting with the aim of acceding to full EU membership, as well as the activities within the competence of the Croatian Mission to NATO in Brussels.
