Farewell visit from German Ambassador Christian Hellbach
The two interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the close and friendly relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Germany, traditionally marked by extensive cooperation in many areas—both at the federal level and in cooperation between Croatia and individual German federal states.
The strengthening of bilateral defence cooperation was welcomed, and Grlić Radman confirmed Croatia’s readiness to continue the partnership and allied cooperation with the new German federal government. Both sides emphasized the strategic importance of continuing support for Ukraine, as well as the need for ongoing European engagement in the Western Balkans, viewed as an investment in maintaining both regional and European stability and security.
Grlić Radman thanked Hellbach for his active engagement and contribution to the further deepening of bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Germany.
