State Secretary Davor Božinović and Ukrainian Ambassador Markijan Lubkivsky signed Memorandum of Understanding between Croatian MFAEI and Ukrainian MFA on Cooperation in European Integration Process

State Secretary Božinović once again reiterated Croatia’s willingness to assist Ukraine with its experience along Ukraine’s way to the European integration. Both sides confirmed that the bilateral relations are very good and unburdened by outstanding issues, with a mutual wish for their further development in all areas.

The meeting also discussed further enhancement of the economic cooperation, and Ambassador Lubkivsky invited Croatian investors to take part in the project of modernizing Ukraine’s gas pipeline, which, as he pointed out, is one of Ukraine’s priorities.

This was also Ambassador Lubkivsky’s farewell visit, as he took the post of the national coordinator for the forthcoming 2012 European Football Championship in Ukraine.
