Third expert seminar for economic advisors at diplomatic missions and consular offices held at MFA

Division for International Economic Co-operation of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised today, 30 July 2004, in Zagreb, third expert seminar for economic advisors at the diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Croatia

Speeches were held by State Secretary for Political Issues at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hido Biščević, State Secretary for Tourism at the Croatian Ministry of Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development Zdenko Mičić, head of the Division for the Promotion of Investment and Export at the Croatian Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship Sani Ljubunčić, Assistant Minister for European Integrations at the Directorate for the Co-ordination of EU Assistance and Co-operation Programs Davor Čilić, and Assistant Minister at the Division for Agricultural Policy, European Union and International Co-operation at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Miroslav Božić.

The second part of the seminar was held at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. Speeches were held by President of The Chamber of Commerce Nadan Vidošević, State Secretary Central at the State Administrative Office for Development Strategy Ante Babić, director of Agency for the Promotion of Export and Investment Igor Maričić, President of the Croatian Privatisation Fund Damir Ostović and Assistant Minister at the Division for International Economic Co-operation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs David Sopta.

The seminar reviewed the activities of the economic advisors, defined the guidelines for their future activities in accordance with the Ministry’s intention to improve communication between Croatian economic subjects, ministries and economic institutions.
