The representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration participated in the conference entitled “Parliament for Europe” in Sarajevo

As a special guest of the Project “Parliament for Europe”, the participants were addressed by President of the Republic of Croatia Stjepan Mesić.

Interim Head of the Directorate for Support to Croatia’s EU Accession Process Mirjam Katulić and heads of departments at the Directorate for Coordination and Monitoring of Adaptation to EU Legal System and Monitoring Implementation of Stabilisation and Association Agreement Diana Štrkalj and Nikolina Radivojević, gave speeches for the members of the Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina addressing the Croatian experiences acquired during the process of integration into the EU. The representatives of the Ministry talked about the importance of efficient institutions for the process of EU integration, about the National Programme for the Integration of the Republic of Croatia into the European Union, and about the implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement. The aim of presenting these experiences was to help the representatives of the Houses of Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in their efforts to fulfil the legislative programme which Bosnia and Herzegovina has to implement on their way to EU membership.

The project “Parliament for Europe“ was also attended by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nikola Špirić, Director in the European Commission Pierre Mirel, Head of the European Commission Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina Dimitris Kourkoulas and others.
