The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia replied, in written, to the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia replied, in written, to the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia on proclaiming the Exclusive Economic Zone in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea.
In the reply to the Slovenian side, it is emphasised that the Working
Group of the Croatian Government for following the Common Fisheries
Policy of the EU is preparing position on modalities for resolving this
issues. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia is
harmonising its position with the European Commission and the neighbouring
countries – including the Republic of Slovenia – so that the future
protection of natural and economic resources of the Adriatic be achieved,
in the spirit of good neighbourly and regional cooperation, in accordance
with the Croatian national interests, as well as with the EU policy
and strategy in this field.
