The Croatian delegation, headed by Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul, is ending today its official and working visit to Great Britain
The purpose of these talks, apart from presenting Croatian economy, was to attract direct foreign investment. Further co-operation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was discussed, especially the projects in shipbuilding, infrastructure, tourism, roadbuilding, and small- and middle-sized enterprises. At the end of the talks, which the Croatian delegation described as successful and useful, Foreign Minister Žužul held a press conference at the Croatian Embassy in London. Before leaving London, Minister Žužul gave an interview for BBC's “Hard Talk”, a famous show hosted for years by journalist Tim Sebastian. The 25-minuta show will be broadcast several times, starting tomorrow, 13 February 2004.
Tonight, the Croatian delegation is leaving for an official visit to Berlin, Germany, where Minister Žužul will meet with German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer.
