State Secretary for European Integration at the MFAEI Marija Pejčinović-Burić held a speech 7 June 2006 in Dubrovnik at the multimedia promotion of the book Roland’s European Paths, published by the European House Dubrovnik
State Secretary Pejčinović-Burić stressed Croatia’s dedication to preserving the cultural diversity, proven by the fact that on 12 May 2006, the Croatian Parliament adopted the Law on Confirming the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, making Croatia the fourth country in the world and the first in Europe to adopt this document.
State Secretary Pejčinović-Burić also expressed her satisfaction with the fact that the MFAEI had the opportunity to support a project that reflects the joint European values and proves that nongovernmental organisations are and important bond between and a partner to state institutions in presenting the Croatian cultural diversity and its European identity.
