State Secretary Matušić visits South Korea

State Secretary for Political Affairs Frano Matušić 22-26 April 2023 was on a visit to the Republic of Korea, where he met with First Vice Foreign Affairs Chang Ho-jin for talks on strengthening Croatia-South Korea bilateral relations in the fields of policy, economy, trade, investment, culture, tourism, science, and education. The two officials also discussed topical regional and international matters, including Russia’s aggression, sanctions, as well as the situation on the Korean Peninsula and the Indo-Pacific.
 
Matušić also visited the National Assembly, where he held talks with members of the Croatia-Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group, Yun Ju-keyng and Seo Young-kyo, on bilateral cooperation and other regional and international topics.
 
In addition, Matušić held a series of talks with dignitaries from the Korean business and cultural community, toured the Sungshin University, and met with former South Korean ambassadors to Croatia.
