State Secretary Matušić meets with Turkish deputy foreign minister

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, State Secretary for Political Affairs Frano Matušić held talks with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Mehmet Kemal Bozay.
 
The two officials underscored the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries and expressed satisfaction with the dynamic of bilateral meetings and visits.
 
Regarding the enhancement of economic cooperation, the interlocutors agreed on the need to increase trade exchange and direct investments. They also discussed potential joint projects in the fields of digitalization, transport, and logistics, with an emphasis on improving supply chain connectivity.
 
The meeting also reflected on current regional and global developments, particularly the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East and Southeast Europe.
