State Secretary Matušić meets with Deputy State Secretary for Foreign and Security Policy at Finnish MFA, Outi Holopainen

State Secretary for Political Affairs Frano Matušić met on Monday, October 14, 2024, with Deputy State Secretary for Foreign and Security Policy at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland, Outi Holopainen.
 
The interlocutors confirmed the friendly relations between the two countries and exchanged views on current foreign policy issues, including the recent Ukraine and Southeast Europe summit in Dubrovnik, the situation in the Middle East, and transatlantic relations. They also discussed developments in the region and the enlargement of the EU to Western Balkan countries.
 
Holopainen briefed Matušić on the priorities of Finland's 2025 chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
