State Secretary Maja Vrtarić co-chaired on Wednesday, 1 July 2009, the 30th anniversary session of the Standing Commission Croatia-Bavaria in Munich

Further cooperation between Croatia and Bavaria in a number of fields was discussed at the session: from the economy, tourism, education, science, culture, agriculture, judiciary and local self-government, to environmental protection and internal affairs.

This session is a confirmation of a long tradition of Croatian-Bavarian cooperation, which has been maintained for 30 years precisely owing to quality projects. The meeting reiterated the belief that the cooperation initiated in this area will continue with the same intensity and success in the future.

In this sense, a technical protocol will be signed today concerning the agreed forms of further cooperation between Croatia and Bavaria.
