State Secretary Hido Biščević received Ukrainian Ambassador to Croatia Markijan Lubkivski

During the visit both Biščević and Lubkivski assessed bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and Ukraine as very good. They also emphasized the Euroatlantic prospects for the two countries and expressed support for further cooperation in that direction. Ambassador Lubkivski briefed State Secretary Biščević on the current political situation in Ukraine.

State Secretary Biščević and Ambassador Lubkivski both expressed desire to strengthen economic cooperation and Ambassador Lubkivski stressed Ukraine’s interest in modalities of cooperation in Southeast Europe, especially in the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) and CEFTA.
