State Secretary Božinović talked about Croatia’s foreign policy, explaining the reasons for Croatia’s NATO accession and the complexities of Croatia’s EU negotiations. He also gave and overview of the situation in South Eastern Europe, pointing out the importance of maintaining the prospect of EU membership for all the region’s countries. He described the two countries’ bilateral cooperation as successful and on the rise, owing its dynamic in large part to prime ministers Vladimir Putin and Jadranka Kosor.
