State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gordan Bakota paid a working visit to Estonia, where he met with the State Under-Secretary for Political Affairs at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tiina Intelmann
State Under-Secretary for Administrative Issues Mati Vaarmann and Under-Secretary for Legal Issues Marina Kaljurand shared with State Secretary Bakota the Estonian experiences in organising the foreign affairs service in the process of joining the EU.
The parties agreed on the co-operation between the two ministries in organising the foreign affairs service and harmonisation of the state administration with the EU standards. State Secretary Bakota proposed that a regime be introduced for Croatian citizens to enter Estonia and Estonian citizens to enter Croatia with only an identity card.
