State Secretary Plenković informed the ambassador about the current status of Croatia’s EU negotiation process, expressing hope that Croatia would sign the Treaty of Accession by spring 2011
State Secretary Plenković informed the ambassador about the current status of Croatia’s EU negotiation process, expressing hope that Croatia would sign the Treaty of Accession by spring 2011. He thanked for the Netherlands’ financial support through the bilateral assistance and EU pre-accession programs.Ambassador Ronner-Grubačić expressed satisfaction with the two countries’ good relations that are constantly on the rise and reiterated the Netherlands’s support for Croatia’s EU membership.
The collocutors also discussed the project of reopening the Vukovar-Bač ferry line, where the building of the “Golubica” ferry was sponsored by the Dutch Government. The ferry is to arrive by river (Rhine and Danube) in Vukovar in October 2010.
