They considered the development of Croatia's accession negotiations to join the EU

They considered the development of Croatia's accession negotiations to join the EU.

State Secretary Plenković presented Croatian efforts to complete the accession process, to open the remaining three chapters by the end of the Spanish EU presidency, and to close another five chapters by the summer recess.

State Secretary Borkowski noted the full support of Poland for Croatia's efforts to join the European Union, as well as the fact that Poland has consistently supported the EU enlargement policy. He also stressed the readiness of Poland to exchange experience from the period prior to joining the EU, as well as in relation with the utilisation of EU funds.
