Second day of his official visit to Portugal, Minister Gordan Jandroković met with Parliament Speaker Jaime Gama

Thanking for Portugal’s ratification of the Protocol on NATO Enlargement to the Republic of Croatia, Minister Jandroković familiarized Speaker Gama with the final activities pending the NATO Summit in Strasbourg and Kehl

The second day of his official visit to the Portuguese Republic March 10th 2009, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković met with Portuguese Parliament Speaker Jaime Gama.

Thanking for Portugal’s ratification of the Protocol on NATO Enlargement to the Republic of Croatia, Minister Jandroković familiarized Speaker Gama with the final activities pending the NATO Summit in Strasbourg and Kehl. He expressed firm conviction that in the Summit celebrating the 60th anniversary of NATO Croatia would take part as its full-fledged member.

Minister Jandroković also informed Speaker Gama about the current activities in Croatia’s EU accession negotiations, thanking for Portugal’s support to that end.

He presented in short the current course of harmonizing the Croatian and European legislature, as well as the further activities Croatia would undertake in that regard.

After the meeting with Portuguese Parliament Speaker Gama, Minister Jandroković left for Brussels, where he is to meet with European Commission’s Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn and Slovenian Foreign Minister Samuel Žbogar.
