Regarding today’s press release by Slovenian MFA

Regarding today’s press release by the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, once again wrongly interpreting the allegedly disputed area of the south bank of the Sveti Odorik canal, as well as the replacement of hunting signs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia rejects those allegations and deems it necessary to react

Firstly, we would like to point out that no new circumstances have arisen in this case, as said hunting signs on the south bank of the Sveti Odorik canal have never been moved, only replaced by the new ones. The Ministry would also like to emphasize that the south bank of the Sveti Odorik canal is under the jurisdiction of the Croatian state bodies, as it is unquestionably a part of the Croatian territory.

Still firmly dedicated to solving the outstanding issues in the spirit of good-neighbourliness and co-operation, the Croatian side would like to invite the Slovenian side to assume the same approach, avoiding any misunderstandings and incidents.
