The two officials expressed satisfaction with the bilateral relations and voiced willingness to further advance them in all areas of mutual interest.

Pusić thanked Greece for supporting Croatia, notably along its road to EU membership. Ambassador Arvaniti applauded Croatia’s achievements, voicing conviction that Greece would ratify Croatia’s Accession Treaty during this year.

The meeting also discussed this year’s Croatia Summit, which will focus on Croatia’s drawing from its accession experience in the institutional building of country and society. Pusić said that those experiences also could benefit the countries of Southeast Europe and the Southern Mediterranean, adding she expected Greek official to attend the Summit.

The Croatian side also expressed interest in the enhancement of cooperation in culture and education.
