Deputy Foreign Minister, Dr. Ivan Šimonović, who is heading the Croatian delegation at the 13^th Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Kuala Lumpur, signed 25 February on behalf of the Republic of Croatia the Document of Intention on the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Republic of Kenya and the Republic of Guyana.

Diplomatic relations will be established once the governments notify each other that the procedure prescribed by national regulations has been carried out.

During the Summit, Dr. Šimonović met with Foreign Ministers of Singapore, Kenya, Mauritius and Guyana, and with Deputy Foreign Ministers of Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Malaysia and Vietnam. The main topic of these meetings was the enhancement of co-operation and co-operation within international organisations.
