The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs is closely following the developments in friendly and neighbouring Montenegro.

We condemn any attempt of interference in the internal affairs of Montenegro, a member of NATO, and deplore the desecration of the Montenegrin flag at the Montenegrin embassy in Belgrade.

Croatia calls on all sides to settle their disagreements through patient dialogue in the interest of regional stability so that Montenegro could freely continue its journey towards the EU membership.
