Deputy Minister Dimitrov congratulated Croatia on today’s statement by the European Commission, recommending to the Council of the European Union that Croatia’s accession negotiations be concluded and setting 1 July 2013 as the indicative date of accession. He also applauded the Croatian government on the numerous successful reforms, which have been recognized by the highest European officials.
Minister Jandroković thanked Bulgaria for its continued support during Croatia’s accession negotiations with the EU.
The meeting also discussed the joint initiatives in Libya, especially in light of Bulgaria’s becoming a member of the international Libya Contact Group.
