The Ukrainian foreign minister said his country followed with great interest Croatia’s road to European integration, especially its last stages. He commented on the recently held Euro, saying it played an important part in changing the way Ukraine is perceived.

Lord Wallace was hopeful that Croatia would serve as an example to other countries in the region in terms of judicial reforms.

Minister Pusić emphasized that the negotiating process enabled Croatia to build and strengthen state institutions in a relatively short period of time, an experience that can be applied to other Southeast European countries, as well as countries of the Southern Mediterranean.
