Director-General for Political Affairs Petar Mihatov and Political Affairs Director at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Witold Sobków held political consultations on 12 May in Warsaw. The two officials exchanged views on the challenges in Eastern and Southeast Europe, the wider geopolitical context, EU’s foreign and security policy, as well as the strengthening of EU defence following the adoption of the Strategic Compass.
