Political consultations held between Croatian MFAEI and Pakistani MFA
On 15 May 2008, political consultations were held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, hosted by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ivica Tomić
Assistant Minister Tomić and the head of the Pakistani delegation, Assistant Foreign Minister Akbar Zeb, discussed the state of the two countries’ bilateral relations, describing them as very good and devoid of outstanding issues. They also exchanged opinions on the situation in South Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and the inner political situation in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The two collocutors agreed that the existing good politician relations should continue to be accompanied by political consultations, as well as by a more intensive economic co-operation.
