On the occasion of the Croatian Independence Day, foreign ambassadors and heads of mission visited Splitsko-dalmatinska and Šibensko-kinska county

On the occasion of the Croatian Independence Day, Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul and his wife, accompanied by Minister for European Integrations Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, hosted the ambassadors and their wives and heads of mission accredited to Croatia on a 3-day visit to Splitsko-dalmatinska i Šibensko-kninska county

Distinguished diplomats, representatives from 45 countries and international institutions, along with the host Minister Žužul, Minister Grabar Kitarović, state secretaries and assistant ministers, during their 3-day stay on the island of Hvar and then in the town of Skradin, have taken in the everyday life and the natural beauty of these two Croatian counties. Ambassadors and heads of missions went to see a concert of the Croatian Baroque Ensemble and took part in grape picking in the vineyards of Hvar, helping the locals in their everyday activities.

A very pleasant visit to Dalmatia, which the ambassadors and heads of mission from around the world described as a top event, will become a traditional meeting between Croatian and foreign diplomats in the following years, each time in a different county, so that they could get to know the real Croatia and its people, announced Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul last night, thanking the diplomats for coming in such a large number.
